Divas Wanted

The SOUND OF THE HEARTLAND CHORUS SWEET ADELINES INTERNATIONAL invites women singers of all ages to visit during any regular rehearsal. We believe that Sweet Adelines, International offers more than rehearsals once a week and performances.  Some of our members have found that Sweet Adelines has offered them leadership training that they have taken into their homes, businesses, churches, and other organizations.  Other members have had the opportunity to travel all over the country and even overseas.  Of course, we have all had the benefit of vocal training and the feeling of accomplishment that comes from improving our voices and finding an outlet for our talent! We cannot talk about Sweet Adelines without mentioning the friendships that our members have made.  We treasure the friendships within our own chorus.  We offer each other a shoulder to lean on in tough times.  We give each other applause and cheers in times of celebration.  We laugh together, eat together, and of course, we sing together (not necessarily in that order)!  And did we mention the friendships that we make with women in other choruses-all around our country and even around the world?  We find that we have so much in common and so much to share because of our love of music!
